Description
The TBR screens, designed for effective solid-liquid separation, skillfully merge a bar screen with a spiral conveyor, making them ideal for various applications. The basket screen, constructed with cylindrical bars, is expertly welded onto a supporting frame, ensuring durability and efficiency.
A key feature of this system is the rotating rake, powered by the main drive. This rake is responsible for clearing the screen. Upon reaching the top, it expels the screenings into a hopper, facilitated by a swinging paddle and an integrated washing system. The screenings are then transported by a shafted screw to a compacting and dewatering section, where they undergo a significant reduction in both volume and weight, by up to 40%.
This machine is highly adaptable, designed to be placed within a channel of appropriate width and shape, or it can function effectively inside a tank.
The main features of the TBR screen include:
- Screw: Constructed from high-quality stainless steel AISI 304 / 316.
- Structure: Made with durable stainless steel AISI 304 / 316.
- Length: Customizable to fit specific plant layout requirements.
- Trough Protection: Features bolted stainless steel wearing bars for extended durability.
- Screen Basket: Comprises curved bars for efficient screening.
- Screen Basket Cleaning: Equipped with an automatic rake and spray nozzles for easy maintenance.
Additionally, the unit can be supplied with a control panel upon request, available in either electromechanical or PLC configurations, to suit various operational needs.
Applications of the TBR screen are diverse, including:
- Treatment of municipal wastewater.
- Use in various industrial plant settings.
